I applied two coats of Mentality Altered over Seche Ridge Filling Base Coat. The formula is creamy and very pigmented and a dream to paint your nails with. Dry time is fast. The finish is sort of a satin finish that I forgot to photograph :-S - oh well… I applied one coat of Glisten&Glow HK Girl to make this holo pop.
Final thoughts: Altered is the perfect slap and go holo polish. Short on time? Looking for mani sparking some oomph? Altered would be your choice then.

Hi Christine! I just LOVE these dark variant holos from Mentality. I have Offbeat from this group and also noticed a particular lusciousness to the natural finish, it is very very smooth and even, no? I topcoated mine as well and the luscious factor translated even under Seche Vite. I loved Offbeat so much and from your beautiful photos it looks like I'll be adding Altered to my wishlist of Diverse, Independent and Divergent from the dark variant holos collection.
