Mentality Nail Polish Week: Altered

HAPPY EASTER to those of my dear readers who celebrate!!! I don't have a special Easter mani for you but the finale of my Mentality Nail Polish Week. This is Altered - a dark jeans  blue holo that has a strong orange and green linear holo. Altered dries to a smooth satin finish - something I cannot remember having encountered with a holographic polish before.

I applied two coats of Mentality Altered over Seche Ridge Filling Base Coat. The formula is creamy and very pigmented and a dream to paint your nails with. Dry time is fast. The finish is sort of a satin finish that I forgot to photograph :-S - oh well… I applied one coat of Glisten&Glow HK Girl to make this holo pop.

Final thoughts: Altered is the perfect slap and go holo polish. Short on time? Looking for mani sparking some oomph? Altered would be your choice then.

I ordered Altered and all other Mentality Nail Polishes with Harlow&Co.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

  1. Hi Christine! I just LOVE these dark variant holos from Mentality. I have Offbeat from this group and also noticed a particular lusciousness to the natural finish, it is very very smooth and even, no? I topcoated mine as well and the luscious factor translated even under Seche Vite. I loved Offbeat so much and from your beautiful photos it looks like I'll be adding Altered to my wishlist of Diverse, Independent and Divergent from the dark variant holos collection. If you'd like to see my review of Offbeat, I can add the url to a comment here but don't want to do that without your permission. Cheers and Happy Easter!

    1. Hi Liz - I meant to check out your name for AGES - thanks for offering to insert an url here. OMG I am just back from checking Offbeat - this definitely should find a place in my stash, it is drop dead gorgeous!!! Thank you so much for your lovely comment - and by the way - I agree, about the dark variant holo collection but then this goes to all of the Mentalitys I got. I hope you had a lovely Easter too - my weekend was filled with fun, laughter and joy :-) <3
