My NOTDs of the week

I started the week out with Zoya Evvie from Zoya's Designer Collection for Fall 2012 as I was in again for a week of not too much into-the-eye manis

These are two easy coats over Essence XXL Nail Thickener. I used Butter London Hardwear as Top Coat. I ordered Zoya Evvie with Nailcare Club - a UK e-tailer.

When I have little time to do my nails, I love to add an effect top coat on an existing mani to refresh the mani itself and to achieve a different look within minutes. Zoya Evvie called for Cult Nails Alter Ego from their Deceptive Collection.

Very unique I find!!! This is one coat of Cult Nails Alter Ego over my Zoya Evvie mani. I ordered Cult Nails Alter Ego from their own site.

Last week my Cult Nails Behind Closed Doors Collection I ordered during their pre-order offer finally arrived. Oh that was just so hard to decide which one to wear first. Given the more corporate environment at work this week I picked Cult Nails Bitten. And now I truly felt bitten by this polish. This ranks among true masterpieces of nail polish for me, I could not get enough looking at my nails instead of getting some work done ;-)

Since the formula is on the thin side (this calls for layering - would you agree?) I applied three thin coats. What a pity my picture does not transmit how much this glows and sparkles in such a sophisticated way. I used Essence XXL Nail Thickener as Base Coat and Essie Good to Go as Top Coat. After three days I had no tip wear or other signs of wear.

To celebrate the end of the week I picked A England Beauty Never Fails. What a true statement for this polish!! The sparkle is so prominent and visible under any lightning it is simply spectacular.

The formula in my bottle was a bit thick but applied like velvet to the nail. I let the nails dry well in between the two coats I applied. Dry time was normal. Of course I used A England The Knight Base Coat and The Shield Top Coat to complete the mani. I ordered A England Beauty Never Fails from their own website.

Summary: this week I loved each and every polish worn. They all applied and wore extremely well.

So what decorated your lovely nails this week?

I look forward to reading your comments - thank you for visiting!!!
