China Glaze Want My Bawdy

Hi hi,

I got three out of the 6 new shades of China Glaze' Bohemian Luster Collection. Today I got the first one for you: Want My Bawdy. By now news have spread that there is little to no duochrome effect in most of these. And Want My Bawdy got the least duochrome effect of all - but you can see a tiny hint of purple on my thumb and pinkie. That fact left aside, I think it is a beautiful color with a foil effect as seen in the picture above. For good measurement I tried Want My Bawdy over a purple (China Glaze Grape Pop) and a black (A England Camelot) polish: No matter how much I squinted at my nails, I could not detect a visible difference between the polish applied on its own or layered over purple respectively black :-(

I found the polish easy to work with and I only needed 2 coats to achieve the results as shown in the pictures. I used China Glaze Ridge Filler as Base Coat and no Top Coat.

And this is a close-up in direct sunlight - I love how the polish changes under different lights....

Thanks for reading and have a good time!!!
