Jade Diamond Matte Illusion Safire Dream

Yesterday I started my Jade-athon to share with you the awesome nail mail I received from my dearest friend Priscilla. What I have in store for you today is one of my absolute favorites from the nail mail (sis, you knew, didn't you?) - it is another polish from the Matte Illusion series. Safire Dream is a bright pool blue jelly filled with turquoise micro glitter - let's take a dive into it:

indoors in the shade the turquoise glitter are in the limelight and while it looks as if the polish would be textured I assure you, the surface of my nails was smooth as silk

I applied two coats of Jade Diamond Matte Illusion Safire Dream over my regular Base Coat. I will get quite repetitive in the course of this week, because each and every polish comes with a perfect formula. So - it is not too thick or thin, spreads nicely and even on the nail. Safire Dream is not overly pigmented - in fact it is the least pigmented of the Matte Illusion polishes I got, but while I already saw myself calling in for round 3 of applying a layer of polish, the second coat provided beautiful opacity without diminishing the "looking through clear water effect". The above pictures are taken without Top Coat.

Glossified with KBShimmer Clearly on Top:

Indoors in daylight - I mattified my ring finger with Mentality Polish Matte Top Coat:

Final thoughts: Ahhh are you as refreshed as I am after ogling this aquatastic blue? Safire Dream is just one perfect summer polish - looooove….. le sigh…..

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stopping by!!!

    3. You are right - according to my knowledge it always takes quite some time for the Jades to hit the retailers.... :-S
