Dotticure featuring Rainbow Honey Creme Couture Set

Pshiiit Boutique not only offers Rainbow Honey full sized bottles but also the small sets of 5 mini bottles holding 5 ml polish each. This particular set sits since quite some time in my stash and to be honest, more often than not I completely forgot about it. Poor thing got stored away far too quickly :-(

Let's get down to dots right away:

I started with paining all nails with two coats of Opi Buff is my Vampire. For the dots I used all colors that came in the Creme Couture Set (the fifth bottle holds Rainbow Honey Top Coat). For each color I used a different sized dotting tool. As usual I sealed the mani with a coat of Glisten&Glow HKGirl.

And here we go matte (as always I used Mentality Polish Matte Top Coat)

Hands down, I started to get used to wear those Skittelettes and while I loved the Dotticure as it was, I found it was not as exiting as it could be. When doing Skittelettes, I usually start out with my nail art nails and so to say fill in the others once the first one or two nails are done. Usually this works best for me. Dotticures are the easiest to start a Skittelette IMO as I like to pick-up one or two colors from the Dotticure for the other nails.

Pinkie: two coats of Rainbow Honey Apple Kid
Middle: two coats of Rainbow Honey Mint Flavor

From left: Apple Kid, Be Mine, Mint Flavor, Tessie

A full review of the set will follow soon!!!

Final thoughts: I admit, I like the colorful Skittelette a lot better than the plain Dotticure, it is so summery, bright and happy!!!

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stopping by!!!

    1. Haha consider them grumpy faced but look at that exposure they got - not a plain mani but Dotticure AND Skittelette AND individual reviews this week - that should compensate some, no ;-P - thank you sweetie xxx

  3. Cute cute CUUUUTE!! I would have stuck with the dotticure simply for the fact that I would have been pleased to death with myself for applying design to all nails, lol... but I certainly understand the appeal of skittles for a variety of reasons :) Those RHs are so pretty! I've been toying with the idea of subscribing to their monthly box because nail polish AND fume, AND you can choose from a mini or a full size box... Sub boxes are not conducive to keeping the collection under control, though, lol. Le sigh ;)

    1. Thank you thank you thank you sis xxx! I promise doing a Dotticure is sort of developing a life on its own in the process - you know: dip-dot-dip-dot and you cannot seem to stop haha!!! They do monthly boxes????? I had no idea - thanks for the tip - I will have a look. Well I admit that subscription to Llarowe's A Box Indied has helped me a lot to control the growing of my collection because you know you will get some gems ANYHOW and think hmmm maybe I wait with that buy until I see what's in that box. I reduced my purchases by about 70 % - not bad, huh? Have a great Monday xxx
