Zoya Dree

It is Sunday - and time to dive into my stash and come up with a VERY old untried. Zoya Dree was released way back for Fall 2011 as part of the Smoke Collection.

Dree is a dusty olive cream - just a wonderful classic for fall or winter. You can see that my bottle has been in my stash for a long time by the pigments visible. This did not have the slightest influence on application or finished look at ALL!

I applied two coats of Dree over Essence Hardening Nail Base. The first coat went on a tad sheer and streaky due to the somewhat runny formula. I waited a couple of minutes before applying the second coat that provided an even and glossy opacity.

Final thoughts: I just love Zoya's creams and Dree is my perfect olive cream :-)

I ordered Zoya Dree way back and cannot exactly remember from where I bought it. These days it became more difficult and mainly expensive to get my hands on Zoya - currently Pshiiit Boutique (which remains closed to 3 February) would be my only source of Zoya. There is another e-tailer called Nails Etc that sell also Zoya but mostly only recent collections and none of the older polishes.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

  1. I just love this olive shades, especially for summer. I agree with you that zoya is a little bit to hard to get hold of, they're not as available as OPI and China Glaze etc at least. I know many buy them from an ebay seller. I think the seller is called lepolishbotique or something like that.

    1. Hahaha I so understand - not a very Essie shade and it wouldn't be one of mine either per se but somehow it had that little extra that made me buy it and then the ME took over and I didn't use it forever - so I seem to be on the fence too ;-)

    2. It's just one of those "China Glaze Trensetter" shades....not my cup of tea. But great job going out of your comfort zone and trying it!
