Enchanted Polish Mr. Burgundy

Tush my dear readers - here comes Enchanted Polish Mr. Burgundy!!! I was floored that I actually hauled one of those beauties for my collection!!!

Mr. Burgundy has a very particular base color - hmmm if I could only do those food references like my dear Blogger friend Melissa from Lacquer Reverie…… I will try anyhow. It is like a prune sorbet over Mascarpone cream. And the icing is a soft linear holo mostly in red, green and blue. But enough of that, just look at the pictures:

the above pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below series outside in the sun

 and in artificial light:

I applied two effortless coats of Enchanted Polish Mr. Burgundy over Essence Hardening Nail Base. As I wore it for two days I of course finished with my preferred Top Coat: Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer. The Top Coat didn't seem to diminish the holo effect - at least I could not detect any difference. The consistency is nice and creamy and has some excellent pigmentation - I believe this is my first Enchanted Polish that is totally opaque at two coats!!!

Final thoughts: To be very honest, this polish comes to life when put on the nail. In the bottle the color looks like in-between-of-everything. It is not berry colored, it is not burgundy, it is not bright, it is not clearly muted and so on. But once on the nail - goodness gracious - a stunner!!!!

I ordered Enchanted Polish Mr. Burgundy with Pshiiit Boutique.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  1. Oh my WORD!! This has me written all over it...prune sorbet and all, LOL! :D I like this one even better than Yesterday. I am always drawn to these plummy (or pruny) wines, and when you combine that with delicious holo sparkle, it's totally perfect! <3

    1. Hi doll, thank you so much - a real berry-licious shade!!! I have to admit Prune is my favorite sorbet, so I am afraid, I might have been not really objective in my selection of food reference ;-) - same to you, and talk to you soon xxx - viele Küsschen and cuddles to Smilla
