Colors by Llarowe That's a Fact, Jack

Originally, I planned to show some brand themed selection this week but then I haphazardly put all my new green nail polishes in a row - and DANG - the theme of the week was borne! This week, I will show you my new greens!!

Let's start with another total stunner by Colors by Llarowe - That's a Fact, Jack. Leah Ann describes it as khaki/grey holo with pink flash. Well this is the shortest possible description for an incredibly complex polish but quite to the point. Are you ready for some picture spam? - Well let's go:

 outdoors in the shade

That's a Fact, Jack in the sun

My skin looks horrid in the below two pictures but the holo effect was too beautiful to skip those two photos

and lastly in artificial light - here clearly the grey tones dominate
I applied two coats of Colors by Llarowe That's a Fact, Jack over Essence Hardening Nail Base. There isn't much to say about the formula except that it is perfect. The first coat already is very even and nearly opaque - however to get all those holo particles and flecks into full swing a second coat is needed. That's a Fact Jack dries quickly to a slightly dull finish. My favorite (and sadly discontinued) Top Coat from Essence - Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer - provided a wonderful glossy finish without diminishing the holo.

Final thoughts: That's a Fact, Jack is such a perfect winter holo - it has so many facets coming to life depending on the light makes it so versatile. While the holo is not into your face it pops to life indoors and outdoors and adds a rainbow to the khaki base. And those pink flecks add like a fourth dimension to this polish. - What a chameleon of a nail polish!!!

Colors by Llarowe is exclusively available with Llarowe.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

    1. Haha thank you Becca!!! I think it is just extremely multi faceted and in those darker days during winter I love it if my polish has so many "views"

  5. That's really pretty! The pink shimmers in there are really lovely and unexpected against the green. And greens for the whole week! I can't wait to see what else you have for the rest of the week. :D

    1. Thank you Yun <3!!! I hope I have some mire stunners up my sleeve - and you know, just this very moment I thought of RBL Halycon - there the pink shimmer is rather hidden - I wonder how the two of them compare (note to self) xxx
