A England Tess d'Ubervilles

In my introduction to smaller nail polish brands there is one particular one, that one is impossible to ignore: London based A England, owned and created by wonderful Adina. Adina has a very, very special take on all things nail polish and gets her inspiration out of myths and poetry and history. Her collections are also small and embrace a theme devotedly. Each of her polishes has a history to its name behind that represents Adina's love and dedication in the creation of each and every polish she releases.

Representing her brand I choose Tess d'Ubervilles, released last fall in the Gothic Collection. Tess d'Ubervilles is a black based polish filled with green shimmer particles.

I applied two coats of Tess d'Ubervilles over Essence XXL Hardening Nail Base. The formula is fantastic and each brush stroke a pleasure to paint. As known with A England polishes you might have to wait a little longer for their polishes to dry but holy cow, they are so worth it!!!

Now I used to love to shop with A England's own website - sadly UK Royal Mail doesn't ship nail polish outside their country anymore so we A England fans have to visit other watering holes like:
  • Llarowe
  • Pshiiit Boutique
  • Mei Mei Signatures
  • Overall Beauty
Please do visit A England website here to learn of more international e-sellers.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  3. Yes, it was such a bummer when all that with Royal Mail went down. So sad, the need to control things like that but GREAT for the rest of us that AEs are available through so many other avenues. You summed up Adina's vision and execution perfectly.
