Pahlish Piano Filled With Flames

Is there yet such a thing like an Indie classic? I have no idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if we soon start to label the one or the other Indie polish as a classic. In lieu of all of them I would like to name today Pahlish Piano Filled With Flames as a classic.

Piano Filled With Flames is a classic red jelly filled with a mass of small glitter in mostly red, orange and gold that give a fiery holo twinkle when hit by the sun.

The above pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below photos outdoors in the sun

I applied three coats of Pahlish Piano Filled With Flames over Essence Hardening Nail Base. The formula is thick but surprisingly easy to distribute on the nail. I suggest though to paint your nails quickly as Piano Filled With Flames turns gooey rapidly due to its quick drying time. Three coats of polish are a lot in my books and I was surprised at how flat my nails still looked. The surface once dry looks dull and is a tad bumpy but since the glitter is small it lays nice and flat on the nail. I applied two coats of my regular Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer to achieve a glossy, smooth surface.

Final thoughts: Piano Filled With Flames definitely goes down as a classic in my collection. I really like Pahlish for their small sized glitters - they look blingy without being too much into your face and I could wear any of them at any day to work.

Is there any Indie Brand polish in your collection that you would name a future classic?

I ordered Pahlish Piano Filled With Flames with their new Bigcartel shop here.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  1. I love this polish!! This stuff really looks like it's on fire. Your pics are the best ones I've seen to reflect how sparkly and fiery it looks. <3 Hmmm...an indie classic? I have one in mind that I haven't shown yet...don't want to spoil the surprise! Heh heh...

    1. Hi Melissa, what a big compliment from you - thank you <3!!!! I was lucky to wear it on a totally sunny day so capturing the sparkle was not its usual seek and hide game ;-)!!! 2. I love the dimension in this! For some reason, Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker comes to mind when thinking of a "Classic Indie" Maybe it's because it's the polish that opened my eyes to the indie world.

    1. Hi Essie, thank you so much xxx!!!! OF COURSE - Jawbreaker, I totally forgot about that one and this was even my first Indie pilish if my memory serves me right - I was stalking Llarowe for weeks (little did I know about launch-frenzies, but back then it wasn't such a rush either). Hmmm now I want to wear Jawbreaker ;-) thanks for the reminder and have a lovely start of the week <3

  3. This is totally gorgeous and yet again we're thinking alike... Y U ALWAYS IN MY HEAD, SIS?!?!? ♥♥ It totally reminds me of Vermelho Dorothy Shoes-- both are so flashy and full of depth. I adore the name on this one, though, so it gets the edge ;)

    1. Hi sis - LOL - I can give that right back and I would so not be surprised if I soaked in your Dorothy Shoe mani unconciously and transformed it into grabbing that Piano ;-). The name reminds me of that famous movie with that rock n' roll singer that puts his piano in flames and married his cousin and whose name doesn't stick to my brain (probably space taken up by polish names - LOL) - have a great Monday xxx

  4. Gorgeous polish and if felt so juicy and somehow it got me to think about delicious strawberries...yum yum.. I like that the glitter is subtle, and not totally in your face as you pointed out.
I'm thinking about classic indies, and I don't know any that I'm sure about but I'd guess that floam could be that? However it has been copied widely so then again it's hard to say. :)

    1. Hi Gelic - thank you so much sweetie <3!!! You are right, Floam could definitely classify as indie classic - all the copies certainly justify for this!!! Xxx

  5. Hi pet! This could definitely be a classic! It's stunning! Like glittery strawberry jam :P
I think all the early Jade holo polishes are almost classics by now. Everyone knows about them and many own them. What do you think? I missed your NOTW today. Hope everything is all right with you?! Viele Küsschen!! xxx

    1. Hi cupcake, awwww strawberry jam a yummmie - thank you <3. I agree on the Jades, I think Brazil has a serious and big avantgarde role in the Indie business and reading through all those suggestions in the comments this nearly fills a week of posts - LOL!!! All is fine with me but with changing seson I find it more difficult to photograph my NOTDs and I couldn't come up with nice pictures for most of them, so I skipped ;-P! Have a wonderful start of the week love and viele Küsschen xxx

  7. Salut ma belle! wooowww Christine, you need a fireman, your nails are on fire! I'm so newby to the indies world, that this are the first pictures I see of this colour, but I absoutely can say that this colour qualifies as a classic ALSO in my book! And of course, as you're the expert, and I'm not a girl that experiments really, I totally take your word! You should do a week of "classic indies" or "musthave indies" that would make my perfect shopping guide, LOL
<3you sweetie, I hope you're doing fine, xxx
