Vintage Challenge: Nailart Sunday with the Vintage choices of the week

Last but not least we tasked ourselves with doing nailart using one or more of the vintage polishes we showed this week. Once more you are more than welcome to show us nailart or a Skittelette using your Vintage Polishes.  Just add the links to your posts in the gadget below. For more information on the Vintage Challenge click here.

Ingredients:

From left. Barielle Falling Stars, BB Couture African Queen, China Glaze Hey Sailor, Nfu Oh 61.  To "frame" the above Cult Nails Fetish

I truly had to do some brain racking to combine all those boldies into a single mani - mosaic nails was what the part of my brain reserved for manis spit up:

Recipe:
Pinkie and index: two coats of Cult Nails Fetish
Ring and middle: I started out with one coat of Nfu 61, taped off the parts I wanted to keep silver and painted the open squares with the blue, green and red - done!!! Luckily this time I choose equally pigmented polishes, so I did not have to somehow try to add an additional coat of polish on the one or the other square AFTER I pulled off the tape ;-P

Some more pics:

In the above indoor photo you can still detect a hint of holo - mainly on my middle finger.

I sealed the mosaic with A England The Shield - I did not consider that I will loose the most of Nfu 61's holo effect - oh bummer, it is also nice with silver.

Sadly, we have reached already the end of our Vintage Challenge week - it has been such a great experience, tons of fun and delight to not only work out the details with Jezz but also meeting new Blogger friends and welcoming known Blogger friends. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!!! You really made this week very, very special for me - of course my biggest Thank You goes to Jezz - for having formed the best ever Challenge Team with me - I am so over the moon - YAY!!!

I hope all of you have enjoyed the weeks Vintage Challenge post - those who participated and the faithful readers coming back daily to see what we have up our sleeves for them - thank you for all the great feedback we got!!!!

Christine

    1. Hi sis - Fetish - a perfect name for that black matte beauty. I started to use it every so often - it looks like some of those übercool matte cars or bikes. Thank you for being here every day to comment - I loved that challenge and will do another one sometime in the future :-)!!!

Your nail art is very pretty, your middle and ring fingers reminds me the frenc and italian flags... with a hint of holo! *_*

    1. Thank you sunshine :-D - what a pleasure meeting you and trust me, I will hang in with your Blog and comment every so often :-). Thanks for having joined us <3!!! Now that you mention it right - it looks like a fusion of the Italian and French flags - and the holo is really really well hidden, no?
