Neon Boldness: Glitter Gal Pink Zinc

No, I normally am not overly into neons. And yes, I am shocked about myself to have expanded my stash to a level that qualifies for a week's theme on my Blog. Now let's see what I have amassed over the last couple of weeks and months:

I start the week with Glitter Gal Pink Zinc which holds a special place in my heart as I got it as a gift from a wonderful colleague at work a couple of weeks ago. I had it ever since in my "soon to be put on my nails" drawer, patiently awaiting a sunny day.





I applied three coats of Glitter Gal Pink Zinc over Essence XXL Nail Protector. The consistency is a bit watery and not very pigmented. I found the intensity and saturation best at three coats. Pink Zinc dries to a half shiny finish - in the pictures you see it with Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer. 
 
Final thoughts: I was really pleased with the behaviour of Glitter Gal Pink Zinc. Application, despite the thin consistency, was excellent and I liked the result of a more neon jelly versus a regular neon cream. As you can see from the dent in my bottle, I already used a share of it - for pedis ;-)!!!

      Hi doll, now you got me wondering - how is Smilla choosing? I bet this is a girls thing between the two of you. Nell is a real boy, he cannot be bothered but looks at me with this "have you lost your mind entirely" look in his eyes - LOL!!! Thank you for your lovely comment and frankly I don't mind the weaker pigmentation - it sort of results in a squishy look which I sometimes miss with Neons!!! Viele Küsschen

    I love wearing my bright pinks as pedis and am definitely more comfortable that way. This is just beautiful on your hands, though, and what a lovely gift.
