I applied two effortless coats of Cult Nails Nakizzle's Shizzle. I used Essence XXL Nail Thickener as Base Coat and Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer. Isn't this just drop dead gorgeous - I got lots of compliments for it. I originally planned to add a glitter for day 2 but I honestly couldn't - I just love it best in its own pure boldness.
As started in my posts from earlier this week, I wanted to show different combinations of wearing the Cult Nails polishes from the Dance All Night Collection. This is how I wore Walk Of Shame:
And this is Opi I Theodora You on its own:
Finally, finally the April weather disappeared and we were expecting a couple of simply sunny days!! I could not resist to apply a holo to end the week ;-) - those were Mark's favorites b.t.w.
I applied two coats of Color Club Harp On It over Fnug Aqua Base Coat and sealed the mani with Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer. The holo effect got only slightly minimized by applying a top coat and I first was a bit on the fence if I should use one, but then I knew I would wear this mani for two days and no time to redo my nails. The wear was really excellent for a holo - I had tip wear but for a holo I was quite impressed. The Color Club holos come with a really "solid" base color - the silver just looked lovely indoors - it nearly got a mother of pearl look:
And here how it looked on day 2 in the sun - looking VERY close you can see some tip wear, but it really was minimal. Sadly the camera in my iPhone could not really grasp all the holotasticness of Harp On It. IRL it was plain stunning.
Looking back at my nails of the week I am happy to see how much I varied the look - and this came totally unintentional ;-)
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
