Wet n Wild Caribbean Frost

In my last NOTDs of the Week I mentioned how happy I am to have met Liesl from Liesl Loves Pretty Things through blogging and that we did a polish swap. I hope by the time I type this my package finally arrived with her!!! When we communicated about what we would swap I mentionned that in Switzerland there is no store near or far that carries Wet n Wild or Sinful Colors that I know of. Lovely Liesl sent me some awesome bottles from both of them my way and I am smitten - and sooo spoiled <3

One of the gems I got is Wet n Wild Caribbean Frost - look at this beauty:

I applied three thin coats of Caribbean Frost over Essence XXL Nail Thickener. The formula was a dream and I had no issues with brush strokes. Wet n Wild Caribbean Frost and Jade Diamond Twist definitely belong to the same color family. However, Caribbean Frost is a metallic polish and greener. Jade Diamond Twist is a shimmer with a soft duo-chrome effect.

Admittedly this polish does not require any support to look special but my aqua themed week has got me thinking of a swimmingpool its bottom decorated with a mosaic and the sun sparkling on the surface reflecting the colors from the ground ...... what about adding a coat of Dollish Polish Spank You Very Much?

And another coat?

I love each and every of those options.

Have you recently layered a glitter over a foil or metallic polish - if so, what did you choose to combine?

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  1. Sooo very pretty! I totally get the idea of the mosaic colours reflecting on the water. These two seem meant to be worn together!
