Ellen Gold 5D Cristal Turmaljna

To end my week of aquatic colors I would like to present you another beautiful Ellen Gold 5D Cristal polish I received (as well) from my beloved sister in polish. This is Turmaljna:


This is so far my favorite Ellen Gold Cristal 5D polish. This juicy green turquoise is absolutely stunning  and the holo particles sprinkled throughout the polish are the icing on the cake.


Both photos above are taken in daylight, the picture below in artificial light. No sun here today so this shy sparkle you see in the bottle is all I could coax out of this beauty.


I applied two coats of Turmaljna over Essence XXL Nail Thickener and added Essence Gel Look Top Coat. I have seen that a number of Bloggers use this Top Coat quite often and after my first failed attempt (bubble mania) I decided to give it another try. I am still not totally convinced about it. I find it rather slow drying and despite its geluous quality I would still have had to apply another coat over Turmaljna to make the surface smooth.

Ellen Gold is another stunning Brazilian brand I came to love. Especially the 5D Cristal polishes have won my heart over. The pigmentation of those polishes is very strong and provide opacity in two coats. The brush is long, slim and soft which makes application to my small nails easy and controllable.
