Ozotic Mr. Big White

Originally I planned on a totally different string of posts this week but then I received my two bottles of Mr. Big in White and Black and my plans were history!!!! Of course I had to try them the minute I opened the package and it took all of my discipline to first shed coat and boots ;-)!!! Finally I am having so much white and black nailpolish that I do not need to obssess getting any ever again.

The bottle holds 30 ml (in words thirty milliliters) of polish which is one bloody hell of a lot. Now think of the brush that comes with it - it is monstrous!!! At least when you sport nubs and small nails like self. It is advisable to not loose the brush out of sight while applying the polish - with me at least it was inevitable that my table top got splattered. In this case I am pretty glad that the Mr. Big White is not one of those fast drying polishes but allows you to whipe off excess polish repeatedly during painting a nail and going back without causing streaks or bald spots or polish dragging.

First picture shows Mr. Big White and Mr. Big Black in piano look - three coats of White, two coats of Black

In the second photo I wanted to show you how Ozotic Mr. Big White looks at one coat:

When I saw the pictures of Ozotic Mr Big White popping up the first thing - or the second thing on the part of my brain reserved for nailpolish was "perfect base for sheer white polish". Just the right opportunity to undig Picture Polish White Wedding.

The above photo shows Picture Polish White Wedding in daylight, the photo below in artificial light

I applied two coats of Picture Polish White Wedding over one coat of Ozotic Mr. Big White. Despite the white base the special transluscent finish of White Wedding was visible.

And this is what it looked like from a distance (to be honest, this is what anybody normally sees when looking at manicured hands) - I wore my favorite patterned dress with it:

Final thoughts: I am happy with my monster bottle of white polish and gladly stop obsessing about getting a white polish - this should last for years to come ;-)

What do you think of 30 ml bottles of nail polish? Have you or will you buy the Ozotic Mr. Big polishes?

We had about 5 cm of snow when I took the pictures for this post and as I might have mentioned before, we own a furry ball named Nell. He is no hero in snow - look how he flees the white stuff:

I ordered Ozotic Mr. Big White with Harlow & Co .

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
