My NOTDs of the Week
I really was on A England splurge during their 2nd Anniversary Sale - among my newly acquired treasures is A England Lancelot. I think this is the blackest red I ever saw - still while it might appear black it has a quirk to it that clearly sets it apart from a plain black this must be the red particles working in the hidden ;-)
The formula is a dream, Lancelot glided effortlessly on the nails, is so smooth that it even does not require a selflevelling quality. The shine is impeccable as is the wear.
For Tuesday I tweaked A England Lancelot by throwing on one coat of Ozotic 905. I love their effect top coats and particularly like to wear them over a darker polish.
I am a lucky duck to have met Liesl from Liesl Loves Pretty Things through blogging. I was super exited when we arranged for a nailpolish swap. I sent her - oh wait, I guess my package did not arrive yet so I won't spoil anything here. Liesl sent me some ITFs (impossible to find) polishes in Switzerland. I absolutely totally had to throw on Wet n Wild Blue Moon the minute I laid eyes on it:
You see here two coats of Blue Moon over A England the Knight and finished off with A England The Shield. The formula is a dream and I love those long and slim brushes - le sigh!!!
Liesl had some more gems packed up for me: this is Sinful Color Aquamarine. I am officially in love with it!!! Not only appears this polish vivid and saturated in any light but if the sun hits the nails it nearly glows with neon force. However this baby was hard to photograph. It continued to look a lot more blue than it actually does. This photoshopped picture below is the closest I could get:
The formula is thick and creamy and easy to apply. Drying time is busy-body friendly :-). You just got to be aware that this baby can stain upon removal. However I had none of it left after I thoroughly scrubbed my hands with regular soap.
So, my Sunday question: which one is your favorite and what did you wear this week on your lovely nails?
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
