Jindie Nails Honey Blue Blue

I also have a Pinterest account. I am not really posting there but rather collecting pictures that I like. These are mostly photos of landscapes. Lately I have repinned more and more pictures of tropical beaches featuring a bright blue and turquoise ocean. Hence the theme of my week was decided. This will be all about polishes that remind me of those beautiful photos.

When Llarowe launched Jindie Nails I took a head start into the Jindie Nails stock. Glitter in milky white base colors are my absolute favorites at the moment and it took all of my will to discipline my urge to throw more than one into my shopping cart - LOL!!! Of course a polish like Honey Blue Blue made my restraint a lot easier ;-)

Both photos taken in daylight. On the picture below you can see the jelly quality of Honey Blue Blue

I applied two coats of Jindie Nails Honey Blue Blue over Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food. This was an experiment, I thought since Glitter Food can smooth out glitter it may also help with ridged nails. Honestly? Not remarkably. I rather stick to my Essence XXL Nail Thickener and save Glitter Food for - well glitter manis ;-)!!!

I have to praise the formula of Jindie Nails polishes. They are awesome and by now I have seen and tried my share of glitter polishes. The consistency is thin though not runny, the pigmentation on the sheer side. The glitter flows easily in the polish and applies without coaxing nicely on to the nails. Due to the not overly strong pigmentation you would probably need three coats to get a truly opaque look but those of you who like slightly jellyish squishy glitter manis might love it.

As of late there is quite a hype in the nailpolish world about Jindie Nails - what about you - have you joined the bandwagon yet?

I ordered my Jindie Nails with Llarowe.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  3. Christine, this is lovely! I love squishiness! and I say YAY for a week that recalls turquoise seas and beaches!!
I didn't know about this brand, as you know I'm not very familiar with indie brands in general. I have never ordered from Llarowe (yet). I need to put myself a "limit", so by now I stick mostly to drugstore stuff, and I admire the photos of my lovely friend ;)!

    1. Salut sweetie!!! Thank you for your lovely comment!!! I should buy more drugstore brands myself because I will never get around to give all those beauties the "nailtime" they deserve - or maybe I should go on a no-buy for a while???? Have a wonderful evening xxx
