Nailpolish my best of 2012 - Part 2

I have been adding and deleting polishes since October to this list. A tough selection has cut the number down to twenty - like 20???? - yep, no way to do any less ;-)! I divided them into two picture heavy posts. Polishes that I already showed got small pictures - rookies got big pictures.

RBL Aqua Lily

Butter London Two Fingered Salute

BB Couture African Queen

Zoya Song

Nails Inc Baker Street

Cult Nails Bitten

Jade Mystic Gold

A England St George

Chanel Frenzy (here with Ellen Gold 5D Cristal holographic Top Coat)

Zoya Elisa

If you would have to name your favorite polishes released 2012 would you also run up to 20 bottles? Which ones are your favorites?

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  1. This is such a wonderful selection! I love each one of your choices, and i was thinking about doing something like this, but I honestly suck on choosing favorites, specially this year, which has been a void of polish for me for the first 9 months, and I lost trace of the collections and trends! so I can only speak for the last quater of the year and about the collections I've tried! My list would certainly include Chanel Malice (which I don't own and has become a lemming :( some china glaze from Worlds away Collection, OPI Every month is october fest, OPI Die another day, Max factor meteorite, Essence Alice had a vision, Catrice San Francisco, and I'm certainly forgeting a lot more!!!

    1. Thank you Nati, oh your picks are as awesome. I think this year brought us such a huge variety of polishes that it became nearly impossible to name a few favorites only. Opi Every Month is Octoberfest (which I own) and Chanel Malice (which I also only admired in the stores) are totally outstanding. I will check out your other picks ;-))) thanks for commenting and I hope you had a wonderful vacation sofar :-))). For tomorrow "en guete Rutsch" as we say in Swiss xxx

    1. Thank you :-) These two are real stunners - Saint George made it at the last minute I have to admit ;-)

  3. You have Mystic Gold :) :) :) Awesome selection, and I love that you've included multiples from Zoya Diva. That collection was stunning. I keep thinking I should have included Butter London Shag and Dodgy Barnett on my list, but I was really trying to keep it concise, lol.

    1. Hi Liesl, LOL - had to stalk Llarowe for some weeks to fetch Mystic Gold ;-)!!! I know what you mean, cutting this list down also cost me some - like RBL Cuprum ;-) or Opi Every Month is Octoberfest or..... I think I will do an honorable mention now that I think of it. Just too many nice polishes this year :-)

    1. Excellent, you managed to cut it down to 10 - I was totally incapable of it and still have the feeling to have left out major releases - sigh!!!! Zoya Song was also to me one of the most outstanding polishes released last year and to put Song among my favorites was beyond any doubt ;-)
