My NOTDs of the week

This week I started off with a neutral mani and grabbed (again) for Chanel Frenzy:

These are two coats of Chanel Frenzy over Essence XXL Nail Thickener Base Coat and Essie Good to Go Top Coat. Using the Essence Base Coat sorted my issues I originally had with Chanel Frenzy. It applied wonderfully and two coats provided sufficient opacity.

I love to give a mani a twist when wearing it on the second day and this time I picked Lush Lacquer Seas the Moment. I gave this mani an own post here http://polishedmarvels.blogspot.ch/2012/11/lush-lacquer-seas-moment.html

Next up is Misa Throw Me Something Purple Please - this is actually a guest polish, it belongs to my friend Antonella and she kindly lent it to me as I always ogle her nails when she wears it ;-)

Indoors in artificial light it looks more purple:

Outdoors in daylight it looks blue:

Oh my I NEED this polish - its a stunner. The formula is a dream to work with. I believe it could be opaque in one coat but at this time of the year I hardly get a chance to do my nails in daylight so I tend to apply two coats for good measure. I used Essence XXL Nail Thickener as Base Coat and Butter London Hardwear as Top Coat.

I will not show you my last NOTD of the week - I don't want to spoil it, it's another incredibly awesome polish that I will show you in a separate post next week ;-).

Do you also have such wonderful friends who lend you nail polish?

I look forward to reading your comments!!!

Thanks for reading!!
Christine

  2. The blue Misa looks wonderful! I've been wanting somethig like this, but the closest I got is a claire's blue, that is not even similar.
I'm not lucky to have a friend who lends me nail polish... but I have several who borrow them from me, lol!
