I applied two coats of Wing Dust Collections Honest Puck over two coats of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter-A-Peel on my pinkie and ring and one coat of Glitter-A-Peel on my middle and index (more of that below). The formula is exactly what I prefer for my color based glitters: The base is thin though "sticky" enough that plenty of glitter travels from the bottle to the brush to the nail. This is what I call a nail polish chutney consistency. Honest Puck spreads easy and nice on the nail - just the bigger glitter has a tendency to club together but since all of those glitters lay flat on the nail I don't mind some glitter grouping. Dry time is quick and the base color is spread evenly around the glitter. I finished the mani with a one coat of Glisten&Glow HK Girl.
And in matte - but this time round, I did prefer the glossy version:
It is already a couple of posts ago when I put up a review of Opi Peel Off Base Coat. In the end it left me wondering why I never threw Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter A Peel into my basket when shopping over at Llarowe's. Long story short I own a bottle now and I was eager to try it:
Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter-A-Peel comes with the recommendation to apply two rather than one coat before applying your treatment and your polish on your bare nails. I wanted to try both versions and went for two coats on my pinkie and ring and one coat on all other nails. I absolutely agree with Nail Pattern Boldness suggestion - it makes a world of a difference when applied in two coats, the polish applies smoother and my ridges are completely covered versus a slightly less smooth application on the one coaters and very visible ridges. In this case no second or third coat of Top Coat would resolve the issue. Any jelly will visibly enhance undisguised ridges and slapping clear liquid on top won't change that. For removal use an orange stick to lift the polish bulk, it will fall off in one piece if you started out with two coats. Peeling off the one coaters is not as swift, I had to wiggle some with my orange stick to get that polish lifted and I experienced more residue and none of the nails got rid of its polish in one piece.
Final thoughts: yes, I am back into not only ogling and admiring greens on others but wearing some myself - Wing Dust Collections Honest Puck contains all I love about them: a bold jelly base, beautiful mix of different colors and sizes of glitters all thrown together in a perfect formula.
I ordered Wing Dust Collections Honest Puck with Llarowe.
