Cadillacquer Survivor

Cadillacquer Survivor is a dark purple jelly with red tones in it - as far as the base color goes. This ripe dark purple is filled with lilac leaning silver glitter that depending on with which layer they flowed on the nail take on a more purple hue or keep their silver-lilac color.

I applied two coats of Cadillacquer Survivor over my regular base coat. Oh I am over the moon about this formula. While painting my mind was unable to stop singing "perfectperfectperfect". Survivor is a jelly though pigmented enough to get this wonderful base color pulsating at two coats only. The glitter is super thin and very dense, your nails will be evenly covered with them though due to their thin cut they don't clump, cluster, poke, hide or what have you. Dry time is normal and the surface will remain bumpy due to the amount of glitter - but then this doesn't come as a surprise, eh? One coat of Glisten&Glow HK Girl was enough to smooth out any irregularities and OMG, this high shine had me drooling all over my nails!!!

Once more the incredible high shine of HK Girl made it hard for me to capture all the beauty of Survivor aptly I found. Hence another go with Cult Nails Wax That:

Final thoughts: Cadillacquer Survivor is my favorite of the collection (or should I maybe safe that statement until the last post this week?) - well anyhoo it clearly ranks among my favorites for spring - YAY welcome back Viscountess of Vamp - LOL!!!

I ordered Cadillacquer Survivor with their own Bigcartel shop here.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

    1. Thank you sweetie - so happy you like it. As for the difference between matte and waxed: matte is "flat" so to say with no shine at all and the wax finish reminds me from the look and the touch of a freshly waxed velvety wood. And I would say the shine is velvety. Oh my - do I make sense??? Have a lovely day and puss xxx
