Cadillacquer The Journey

I am at a loss of words with this one. Cadillacquer The Journey is so captivating and intriguing yet so DIFFICULT to confine in words. Looking at the bottle I am reminded of some mysterious illuminated from within pond in a cave. The Journey is a greenish blue grey jelly filled with bright teal shimmer - YUK this description sounds so banal in a way after this image of that secret, hidden pond - no? The Journey also has an ever so soft holo micro sparkle but let's just get this out now - I could not coax it to front and it shows only at a certain angle in my bottle if twisted and turned under a lamp - sorry guys :-(.

I applied two coats of Cadillacquer The Journey over my regular base coat. The formula is what you imagine a jelly to be. Somehow it had the tendency to pool on some of my nails - maybe I didn't wait long enough in between applying the base coat and the polish because I never experienced this with any other Cadillacquer polish. Mind you, this was no big business - what you see on the pictures above is what I got upon the first attempt, so no correcting was necessary. This on its own should say a thing or two about the high level of quality of The Journey, would you agree? The finish is just ever so slightly uneven given the gazillion of shimmer particles. I applied one coat of Glisten&Glow HK Girl to achieve the above high shine.

And since there was no sun left and right when I took the pictures I "waxified" my mani with Cult Nails Wax That:

Final thoughts:  And yet another stunner coming from Cadillacquer. Even at the end of this post, I feel still at a loss of words over this beauty.

I order my Cadillacquer polishes with their own Bigcartel shop here.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for dropping by!!
