I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Cinny Sweet over Essence Hardening Nail Base. I tell you, this is one of the best textured formulas I have tried so far. It goes on pigmented and even already upon the first coat and with careful application you can easily get away with a single coat. However, the deep pulsating magenta springs to true life upon applying a second coat. The dry time is on the fast side for a textured polish but will keep the silver shine visible in the bottle, very chic.
Final thoughts: Now there is a go-to polish for a quick every day mani if you run short in time. I would advise to wait some good 30 minutes before you challenge the polish in any serious way like digging for a zipper on your boots or nestling for coins in your bag but it will be good to go after 15 minutes without the need to walk the planet with hands raised.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for dropping by!!!
Christine
Hi pet! I like it and it suits you so well! Me too felt a sudden urge for textured polishes the other day! I actually went for a similar shade ;) (Check what's app if you're curious ;)). I wear textures too seldom! Need to change that ;) Viele Küsschen Süsse!! Give Nell a cuddle from me! xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie <3!!! I had the same feeling this week - I let my textured way too often in my drawer, having received a new one sparked my memory how much I actually love them. And your mani is STUNNING - love it - think I already wrote it back, no? Viele Küsschen and cuddles to Smilla xxx
DeleteSo, did they just decide to call the Sugar Coats that had shimmer in them Sugar Shimmers? Because I have the blue with the pink/purple shimmer, that was first brought out as a Sugar Coat. It has now been re-released with a new name and now under the Sugar Shimmer collection....
ReplyDeleteOh they changed the name? I am afraid, I had no idea since Sally Hansen is unavailable in Switzerland, I think they might have changed it into Shimmer because their is silver visible in the bottle and it translates to this lovely shine on the nail that gives the texture depth - thank you for your nice comment :-)
DeleteThis is so pretty! I should wear more textured polishes soon!!
ReplyDeleteThank you hon - exactly my thought too after having worn Cinny Sweet ;-)
Delete"Deep, pulsating magenta" oh my gosh you have such a way with words, sis!! This looks and sounds fantastic. Fun to see another SH on you, too :)
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell you how happy you made me with your comment - I always feel at the short end of the straw with English not being my mother tongue and quite often at a loss of words. But you encouraged me just TREMENDOUSLY - thank you sis xxx!!!! And I am totally exited about my Sally Hansens - these are like my HTF Indies ;-)
DeletePretty!! not to mention I've been dragged into textured polishes love a while ago, after a moment of scepticism, haha, and should I say who had a great influence on me??? well, obviousy!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous shade, right up my alley, and suits you wonderfully, bty. Looks like you friend has an eye for chosing nail polish!

Merci mille fois ma belle - and oh-oh, did I had a part in this? I am honored!!!!! I actually did think of you while painting my nails, I thought, this is a shade that would so lovely on your nails…. I hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend. I am a bit below radar since a couple of days but I think it is the time of the year with all the bugs floating our nearer and farther environment :-S - bisous xxx
