Picture Polish Peaches'n Creams and Cult Nails Walk of Shame

Picture Polish Peaches'n Cream is not exactly an untried polish in my stash - I used it every so often in Skittelettes. But looking into my archives, I realized that I never did a complete mani with it. And since I am totally in the mood for soft and spring inspiring polishes right now, so the perfect shade to go with right now.

Peaches'n Cream is  - as implied by its name - a peach cream, though very vibrant and morphing my pale January skin into looking nicely tanned - what's more to long for mid-winter in the Northern Hemisphere?

the above two pictures are taken indoors in day and artificial light, the below photo outside in the shade

I applied three coats of Picture Polish Peaches'n Cream over Essence Hardening Nail Base. Peaches'n Cream has a very creamy consistency with minor pastel-colors attitudes. Read: slightly streaky and patchy upon the first coat and not yet entirely leveled out at the second coat. The third coat smoothed out any irregularities and Peaches'n Cream dries to a nice high shine. Since I wore it as NOTD I used a Top Coat - it is the first time I used Glitter Gal Gloss Boss. What I can report so far is, that you need to bring plenty of it on your brush onto your nail to provide an even finish at the first go. It dries very fast. Glitter Gal promises a high shine gel like finish that also will not diminish holo polishes. So far I only wore it over creams but I can agree to what the label claims. I also had absolutely no tip wear or scratches after one day of working at the office. I will come back with further observations after having it used more often.

I felt all girly and amped up Peaches'n Cream with Cult Nails Walk of Shame - a gold glitter in a clear base interspersed with holo particles. I applied one coat of Walk of Shame over Picture Polish Peaches 'n Cream:

Final thought: I just loved how groomed and elegantly tanned my hands looked like with Picture Polish Peaches'n Cream - what a perfect promise for warmer days!!!

I ordered Picture Polish Peaches'n Cream either with Llarowe, Harlow & Co or Phsiiit Boutique, yep you got it, I cannot remember - LOL!!!

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for passing by!!!

  1. I can't decide if I like this or not. It's very feminine, makes me think about spring and is a happy color but some how I'm afraid that I wouldn't like it alone on my nails. Weird right? In a nail art however, then anything goes! :D

    1. Hahaha, I know the feeling - if one is used "to have more going on" your nails, it can feel weird to see them so simple. As for nail art - it indeed is a great "canvas" be it for paintings, stamping, stripes, now if only I wouldn't be such a klutz in any of those ;-)

  3. Peaches & Cream is perfect on you! Typical pastel formula is good enough for me, I only with I could pull off peachy like you do. It's GORGEOUS with Walk of Shame on top.

    1. Thank you Liesl xxx!!! I think there is a peach for everyone - it is like nude, a smidgen to white or half an ounce more to pink and the final look changes entirely. I gave on all my other peaches - they were not as saturated as this one and made my hands look like I would not have any nails at all - ODD :-S

    1. Yes, you carry those peaches off beautifully!!! And you had a way of showing us how effortlessly they can be combined with nailpatches or used in Skittelettes - thank you *hugs*
