I wonder if any of you considered comparing these two yet? The second I saw the first bottle shots of Pretty in Punk I know I had to have it for the sole reason as it seemed to look similar to my beloved Hey Jude.
Pinkie: three coats of Enchanted Polish Hey Jude on its own
Ring: three coats of KBShimmer Pretty in Punk on its own
Middle: one coat of Enchanted Polish Hey Jude over one coat of Cult Nails Nevermore (black cream)
Index: one coat of KBShimmer Pretty in Punk also over one coat of Nevermore
Color: Pretty in Punk looks paler and more leaning toward silver than Hey Jude. Next to each other Hey Jude seems to have a nearly golden tinge. Also Pretty in Punk has a less vivid bright green base than Hey Jude
Holo: Pretty in Punk has a really nice holo rainbow visible in any light. Hey Jude is a slight bit less holographic.
Multi-chrome: Both of them shift from green to silvery-grey to pink (worn on its own) or purple (worn over black)
Formula: Pretty in Punk is even sheerer than Hey Jude, however both of them achieve opacity at three coats when worn on its own. Due to the sheerer formula of Pretty in Punk you have more options to play with effects when layering over a darker base depending on how strong you would like to have the green color visible.

Verdict: while not totally identical, I find Pretty in Punk a perfect alternative to the ever harder to get Enchanted Polish Hey Jude and I like to have the choice for a more subtle or bold version when worn over black or any other darker base.

DeleteThey look similar enough that they are great dupes for each other. That's especially awesome since one is near impossible to get. :) I really love how they look over the black... just so vibrant and green. :)
