Cadillacquer Pink Teddy Bear

True to my preferences here comes another as charcoal as charcoal can get polish: Cadillacquer Pink Teddy Bear. In this one you find magenta shimmer in the deep charcoal base.

The above two pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below photo outdoors in the shade

 and in artificial light:
I applied two coats of Pink Teddy Bear over Essence Hardening Nail Base. Formula as had was great to work with - while the first coat might appear sheer the second coat provides full opacity and proofs some great self levelling qualities (which is also valid for the previously shown polishes). Dry time once more was on the fast side.

Now with Pink Teddy Bear was a piece of work to photograph. While IRL the pink shimmer was very visible and gave the polish a slight purple hue when looked at from afar it disappeared into near nothingness in the photos. Matte Top Coat (I used Essie Matte About You) was the solution to show you all what this hotness looked IRL when glossed up with a Top Coat:

and look how awesome it looks in the bottle:

I ordered Cadillacquer Pink Teddy Bear with Cadillacquer's Bigcartel e-shop.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

  1. This one looks fab mattified and glossy, but it just looks so deep and glowy glossy! It reminds me of Revlon Facets of Fuschia/Scandalous but shimmery, not chunky. Cadillacquer's looking better and better, thanks to your lovely swatches, sis ♥

    1. Hi Liesl, once more you exactly phrase my thoughts - I just loved the depth and glow in the glossy version too! Indeed the color combination is not unseen but Cadillacquer managed to get it glowy without the chunky part ;-)! I have to admit Cadillacquer grew onme for its mature yet trendy knack, there isn't a single polish I would not consider wearing at work. And I never watched Breaking Bad either ;-) xxx

  3. Salut Chrisitne! I love the shimmer in this! it really gives another dimension to the nail polish. I think I prefer it glossy, but matte is also very chic. All these dark shades suit you so well <3

    1. Salut ma belle, I prefer the glossy version too - I slapped on the matte top coat to give an idea of the density of the shimmer or is it glitter? I am always at a loss!!! I hope you are feeling better - I am also nurturing a proper cold - oh bummer - it is the time of the year - thank you so much and bisous xxx
