To start the week, I would like to dedicate this post to my wonderful friend Essie from i Heart Pretty Polish (now who has not heard or read from her? She is awesome). Essie is a follower of my Blog from the real, real start and has been faithfully and warmheartedly supported and helped me ever since. Not to mention during my most recent difficult times she is a wonderful friend, always comforting and generous - Essie - you really make a difference!!!!!
So I should get ahead with what I want to show Essie today. Last week Essie posted a comparison on neon pinks (click here to see her post) and I wrote to her, that I possibly have a dupe for Essie Pink Parka. I therefore proudly present Nfu Oh Mor 04:
I applied two medium thick coats of Nfu Oh Mor 04 over Fnug Aqua Base Coat (yup, you right correctly, I started to use Aqua Base Coat also for pastels - it makes a lot of difference in the application in my eyes). I used Vefic Top Coat - the incredibly shiny fast dry top coat I got from my dearest friend Pri from Brazil.
And another picture taken indoors in daylight:
I also tried to do a comparison but it turned out meekly compared to Essie's as I own only a few neons but it might help locating where in the range Nfu Oh 04 would be "seated":
From left: Glitter Gal Pink Zinc, Nfu Oh Mor 04, Essie Camera, Essie Bazooka
Now I was floored by how different Nfu Oh Mor 04 looked sandwiched between the above - a lot lighter than when just worn on its own... Well I hope it does provide SOME idea where on the color range this beauty is seated.
I ordered Nfu Oh Mor 04 with Pshiiit Boutique.
I look forward to reading your comments -thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
I love this! It's so interesting to me how the cremes in some of these brands get completely overlooked in favor of their flashier siblings. Cremes are one of my very favorite finishes (top three, for sure). This is totally gorgeous and a perfect dedication to such a sweet person :)
ReplyDeleteHi Liesl - thank you so much <3!!! I hope this will be a dupe for the Essie polish our sweet Essie was looking for ;-)!!! Cremes are favorites of mine too (now big surprise, no?)! Have a lovely afternoon sis xxx
DeleteI think Nfu-oh does amazing polishes (besides their famous flakies ones :D ) I'm stalking Pshiiit because of the blue and green ones in this collection but this one looks amazing too! I can't wait for the restock!
ReplyDeleteHi Ina - I could "only" grab two of the blues and greens, they were disappearing so fast, so yes, I am stalking her site now too ;-) - thank you hon!!!
DeleteNfu Oh Mor 04 is an amazing pink! So vibrant and bright, and I love the warmth in it! And so sweet of you to dedicated this to Essie. :D
