Girly Bits Emerald City and Emerald City Lights

I think there were already a couple of posts out there of these two green gems released by Girly Bits as part of their Spring it on my Collection.

Lately I have been a lot into bold colors and Girly Bits Emerald City hits score with its luscious green color and jelly quality:

I applied three coats of Girly Bits Emerald City over Essence XXL Nail Thickener - you see the shrinkage at the tips of my nails only an hour after application? These two definitively will never get pals - LOL!!! But shrinkage aside, the formula is great to work with, not runny or thick, just the perfect consistency.

And adding some turquoise shimmer by applying one coat of Girly Bits Emerald City Lights. As you can see from the pictures below, it covered the shrinkage on my tips well.

And just for comparison, I wanted to show you two pictures of them next to each other that you can see the added effect of Girly Bits Emerald City Lights better:

The shimmer is quite visible though not right in your face. I liked both looks a lot - what a pity that the weather has not been at its best when I wore this mani - it really wins in the sun!!!
