Drug Store find: Astor Quick'n Go 361

For spring I picked up some really nice colors at Manor and Coop and show one of them every Friday for the coming week.  Manor remains my favorite nailpolish watering hole in the area, but the Coop stores really leaped forward remarkably and have expanded their range of offered colors of their standard brands. So these days I every so often return home with the one or the other bottle of nailpolish ;-)!!!

Astor Quick'n Go has some great cream polishes. So far I have picked up only one of them for me - a slightly dusty turquoise

Application was without difficulty and it was fully opaque in two coats. I used Essence XXL Nail Thickener as Base Coat and Essence Better than Gel Nails Top Sealer as Top Coat. Dry time is on the fast side. To give Astor Quick'n Go 361 a little tweak I added some glitter on my ring finger with Emily de Molly Copper Field.

Final thoughts: All the nice labels plastered all over the bottle like 1 sec flash brush (I did not figure out what exactly this is supposed to mean) or 45 sec did not materialize with No 361. I found out that the latter means you just have to sweep once over the nail to achieve full coverage of the nail and to opacity (with a wide and sturdy brush - ehem). But this put aside, it really covers well in two coats and given the sturdy and short bristles of the brush it was not too hard to control the amount of polish transferring on to the nail. Dry time is definitively on the fast side.

I bought Astor Quick'n Go 361 at my local Coop and ordered Emily de Molly Copper Field with Llarowe.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
