Contrary Polish Ain't No Sunshine, Love Lyrics Spring 2013 Collection

Earlier this week I showed you Contrary Polish The Way I Am from the Love Lyrics Spring 2013 Collection. My lovely friend Jezz from Little Miss Nailpolish mentioned in the comments that she was most curious about Ain't No Sunshine from the same collection, especially because it is referred to as similar to Illamasqua Raindrops. Now I don't own the said Illamasqua shade but am happy to do a quick post of Contrary Polish Ain't No Sunshine:

I applied three coats of Contrary Polish Ain't No Sunshine over Essence XXL Nail Thickener and finished it with one coat of Essence Gel Look Top Coat. The consistency is sheer (to achieve this squishy jellyish look) but buildable. While it already reached a certain opacity at two coats I prefer the look at three coats. The shimmer particles are more visible in the bottle than on the nail - my photos are pretty much how it looks IRL - but it shows very softly and delicate on the nail when moving the hand.

Final thoughts: I am floored, I just love, love, love Ain't No Sunshine - thank you Jezz for making me swatch it so soon <3!!!

    Such an amazing polish! I have Raindrops and judging from the pics Raindrops seem to be a lighter version of this one!

      Thank you Ina :-)!!! Just as I thought, I think you already posted Raindrops if I remember correctly. It would seem to me a couple of shades lighter too - and maybe without the green tinge that Ain't No Sunshine got.
