Manis for busy bodies: Catrice Steel my Heart

I would not know about you my dear readers but this time of the year proves to be a mad dash towards the Holiday for me. I so badly wish to find time for Christmas preparations but find myself just ploughing through the days until the end of my last working day of the year - which will be 19 December. Not bad, I agree, yet I have to get through two more veeeery long days.

There is a meaning behind all this fuss: no time for elaborate manis!!!! So this week I show you my busy body manis. None of the polishes I will show you this week take longer than 40 minutes to apply, starting from Base Coat to being dry enough to leave the house. I added some extra minutes because when I think of myself trying to apply nailpolish in a hurry there is the one or the other thing going down the drain - and this little extra mess is included in my counting ;-). I used Essence XXL Nail Thickener for all of them as this is the fastest drying Base Coat I own.

I have used Catrice Steel my Heart in my previous week's theme of subtle Holiday manis in a comparison. This week it gets its own post ;-). To amp it up for an evening out I would simply apply a shiny top coat - this brings the golden particles in the polish to life!!!!

I applied two coats over Essence XXL Nail Thickener and no Top Coat. I love the neutral yet edgy character of this polish.

How do you like matte neutrals?

I bought Catrice Steel my Heart at a local department store.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

Christine
