Picture Polish Week: White Wedding

This was my first ever Picture Polish - and I bought it because of Billy Idol's White Wedding. I will always think of the wedding of friends of mine when wearing this polish: When they entered the church and walked down the aisle, it was Billy Idol's White Wedding that rocked the church - I still get goose bumps thinking of that moment.....

Oh I love the translucent quality of Picture Polish White Wedding and while the micro sparkle is not overly evident it makes this polish look to me like a field of fresh fallen snow in the sun. When I used White Wedding for the first time I found the observation of many Bloggers true: the polish was not highly pigmented and had a thickly consistency. A few drops of thinner resolved any issues I had. Now the polish applied nice and easy.  These are three thin coats. I used Butter London Nail Foundation as Base Coat.

And then - out of nothing - I had about 10 minutes of something remotely resembling sunshine!!! Isn't White Wedding just a perfect white?

I ordered Picture Polish White Wedding with Llarowe - the creator of this polish.

What is your favorite white polish?

I look forward to reading your comments!!!

Thanks for reading!!
Christine

  1. Very beautiful! and it suits your skin tone wonderfully. I don't think everyone can pull out a white shade. The shimmer is lovely, too.
I don't own many white polishes, may be 2 or three? but one I like a lot is China Glaze Frosty.

    1. Thank you Vicky :-) I was surprised that I could wear it myself, I think the micro glitter did it for me.

  4. This is stunning! One of my favourite whites is Essie's Moonstruck! I think the best whites are softer whites like these and not those stark white polishes that look like paper. Those are best for nail art though.

    1. Hi Kas - Thanks for your tip - I will have a look at the Essie. I still cringe if I use White Wedding for a Skittlette or consider putting a nailsticker on it. I agree, I don't like those chalky, mortar-feel like whites. Re nail art: that's what I have heard!!
