Welcome my dear naillacqueristas to another Sunday Stamp Camp post. These past weeks I worked hard on improving my stamping skills. And looking back now, I cannot prevent patting my own shoulder. I came a long way since my first jittery stampings!!! However I am still having quite some miles ahead of me but right now I am pretty pleased how my stamping turns out IF I use Stamping Polish. With regular polishes my results are still a total hit or miss (jaja, I hear you with using one coaters, etc - still the use of stamping polish is the easiest for me right now).
So let's move on to why exactly I am so pleased with my stamping:
Pinkie: two coats of Cult Nails Time Traveler
Ring: Elevation Polish Weddell Sea stamped with MoYou Pro Plate
Middle and thumb: Elevation Polish Ceram Sea stamped with MoYou Pro Plate
Index: Elevation Polish Ave Secretan
I am working my way slowly towards more and more contrasting Skittelettes - I just love the tossing and turning of ideas and then the mix and match game on my nails. For this one I did not mattify the stamping - I did not want to add to the diversity of the mani by mixing different finishes.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stopping by!!!

Nice colours choices, I'm loving that red! I'm liking the stamping here. I really like the design on your ring finger :-D The white flowers on the green are pretty too!
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie!!! The pattern on my ring finger is my favorite too - so delicate! Still also the popart style of the midddle... Ah this is why I love Skittelettes - no need to decide for one pattern - haha!!! The red is very classic - need to wear it again soon as full mani <3
DeleteYou are getting so good at stamping hon!! I'm absolutely loving your skittelette!!
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Ina - what an encouragement!!! I cannot believe how frustrated I used to be about any stamping I tried a couple of months back.... xxx
DeleteThis is amazing! You've done such a great work here and I'm so impressed by your stamping skills! I'm also a bit in a struggle when it comes to stamping. When I get it done I love the result, but sometime it really fails, and I also think my best results have come with stamping polish. I think that I'm probably too slow when it comes to regular polish (because I guess it dries faster than stamping polish?) But I really want to practice because it looks so nice when it's done the way you've done here! <3 xx
ReplyDeleteThank you lovey!!!! Another encouragement!!!!! The secret about stamping polish is consistency - it is much thicker than your regular one. If I use normal polish stamping is still total hit or miss and beyond my control - oh well.... Oh Maybelline Metallics are great for stamping too - very velvety consistency. xoxo
DeleteLove the design and color combo on your ring finger <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much lovey <3! The one on the ring finger is quite elegant compared to the poptastic one on the middle ;-)
DeleteI love love love it!!! you mastered the stamping flawlessly! Stamping is really struggle for me, I can never figure out which polishes work right. Whenever a blogger says "I've used this and that" and I go and try... well it nevers work for me! The hardest has been to find a silver polish that stamps nicely, (or rather that I can actually master, haha) and I found mine in OPI haven't the foggiest, really perfect. And I've also converted to Moyou london plates, specially those with XL designs!
ReplyDeleteBtw, this skittlette reminds me of IKEA patterns, that or I'm obsessed with Ikea hahaha.
Hahahaha you made me laugh ma biche! Ikea of course you are right!!! The whole color composition somehow - no??? Is this now Ikea-tastic????? OK I am a clutz at stamping with regular creams still - I am 99% using either my black or my white Rica stamping polish. Have you heard of the Mundos Unas (or whatever their name is) stamping polishes? Or did you even get any? If so WHERE???? As always je t'embrace et bisous xxx
