Pahlish Charn

Another Pahlish polish I used for my Skittelette I showed last Sunday is Charn. A pale lavender crelly, filled with bright matte turquoise hex glitters in tiny, small and medium sizes.

and Charn in the sun - not that much a difference, no?

I applied two effortless coats of Pahlish Charn over my regular Base Coat. The formula is so so good, it is thin, though not runny allowing glitters of the first coat to peek through the following layer of polish without being so thin to sink around the glitters. Dry time was normal and the surface - given the amount of glitter - slightly bumpy. But nothing that would not have been smoothed out after applying a layer of KBShimmer Clearly on Top ;-)

Final thoughts: More often than not lilacs contrast only mildly next to my skin - this pale version though really plays nicely against my skin!!!

I ordered Pahlish Charn from their own Bigcartel Shop here.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stopping by!!!
Christine

  1. What a pretty polish, sis! I always think I'm not too into the glitters in crelly bases but sometimes they're just darned fun to wear (and certainly to look at). The base reminds me of BL Mollycoddled.

    1. Thank you Liesl <3! Oh-oh I cannot remember if I own this BL :-o I would say no, but I have my doubts :-S. I am not the biggest fan of those glitters either - mainly because of polish sinking in around the glitter but like you there is every so often one that really is so pretty. I have to admit, I got back to getting more of them due to my subscription to Llarowe' A Box Indied - so far none let me down ;-)
