Skittelette for #nailartguild challenge on Instagram: Patriotic

Happy Independence Day to all my American readers! I hope you have a wonderful party!!! Today is the second posting of the other Instagram challenge I am participating in: #nailartguild. The theme was Patriotic. Now I am definitely Swiss, not American, but I have so many American friends, I did this mani in their honor. So this is my first attempt EVER at creating some freehanded stripes and to try my new Vivid Lacquer Stamping plates I ordered from Harlow & Co - on we go:
























Pinkie, index, thumb: two coats of A England Camelot
Ring: two coats of Opi Over And Over Again from the Gwen Stefani Collection (best red ever btw). I painted the stripes with one of those thin, long, whispy nail art brushes using Rica Stamping polish in white
Middle: two coats of Butter London Blagger, stamped with Vivid Lacquer Stamping Plate 002



Did you see? Try as I might, I could not get a proper image transferred on the middle finger of my right hand AAAAAARGH, not so my Cinderella hand, there I got a nice and crisp image on try one. Also the stripes turned out better on my Cinderella hand - oh well - 15 minutes of lime light or so for my left hand then….

I leave you now rather unceremoniously as I am about to go and see Metallica playing tonight in Basel - yep, Nothing Else Matters ;-) - have a wonderful day!!!

      Haha - thank you my dear <3!!! I saw your "stalking" (read "likes") on IG. Well, we all know that life sometimes have some pretty busy times for us in store - look at me, I am also way not as regular with my posts as I wished, but hey, other interesting stuff is happening and 24 hours are simply not enough to pack all of it into them ;-P
