Colors by Llarowe Woman from Tokyo

It was sunny, it was hot, it called for a holo. I have to admit, my pile of untried holos is MASSIVE - I seemed to have gone bonkers over them during winter and spring….

Colors by Llarowe Woman from Tokyo is a very dark purple with strong linear holo, mostly in blueish and reddish colors, morphing into a burgundy glow around the edges and containing a smidgen of a golden shimmer.:

I applied two absolutely, totally effortless coats of Colors by Llarowe Woman from Tokyo over my regular Base Coat. I find it so hard to find the words to comment on this formula - haven't you experienced this as well? The "technical" part of a polish is so good that on one hand, you feel you should go on forever about its flawlessness, on the other hand, facts are so simple. This is one of those polishes. Woman from Tokyo has just the most superb formula you can think of, dries quickly despite the heat and wore well for more than two days with hardly noticeable tip wear.

Final thoughts: In the beginning of this post I was a tiny bit on a roll about the expanse of untried holos but now after wearing Colors by Llarowe Woman from Tokyo, I am more than exited to have snagged so many of Leah Ann's creations - and there are still quite a number cueing here...

I ordered Colors by Llarowe Woman from Tokyo with Llarowe. A selection of CbL's is also available on Harlow & Co.

I look forward to reading your comments thanks for stopping by!!!

    1. Thank you my dear!!! It definitely is totally spectacular - I find the CbL's have really geared up with regard to mind-blowing holo effects - not to say that they were not beautiful from start, but I see a clear - so to say - holo-accelaration ;-)

    2. Thank you sis - what I like best about your comment is your reference to your Celestials. I am so pleased that the bar for holo formulas have been raised so high by the Indie Brands - I am quite sure we would still walk in patch-desert if it would not be for them, not being satisfied with anything below stellar - some of them at least for sure. And by now the weather is back to rainy - LOL - we have here rain, sun, humidity, wind, clouds, thunder and lighting practically everyday in rapid succession - how crazy!!! I should wear a summer dress, a woolen cardi, wellies and an umbrella at all times - LOL!!! <3

  3. Haha I've got that song going through my head too, I do like it a lot :-)

This polish is a gorgeous purple holo and it looks amazing. It really pops out in the first two photos.

I must admit to having quite a lot of untried holos that I'm trying to work my way through - weather permitting as they always look much better with sun! But in Scotland we don't get much sun - so I have to take advantage of it while I can. This week has been pretty good for holos but too hot for me and my pale skin. Even my 3 cats were finding it too hot on Thursday there!!!!

    1. Thank you Ananka <3 - I already ogled your beautiful Butter London baby you showed - comment to follow soon ;-). Apparently summer decided to go north this year - we are down to meager 16 degrees or so - brrrrr. And during the days rain, sunshine, humidity - oh well…. I can just imagine, my poor Nell is also not favoring the heat, so he would be pretty happy now if it would not be for the downpours - LOL!!! I know the feeling about the holos so well, it is not as if we would have this much sun here either but how to resist those beauties???? xxx
