It is Throwback Thursday with #supergorgeousblog Challenge of July, so let's take a dive into my untrieds - and whoops here comes Colors by Llarowe Behead The Drama Queen!! This was released in the first ever collection Leah Ann created. A beautiful dark teal jelly base filled to the gills with green shimmer. To me it looks like some shimmery peacock feathers. Beware, there are quite some pictures coming:
and outdoors:
I applied two effortless coats of Colors by Llarowe Behead The Drama Queen over my regular Base Coat. I expected the polish to be a tad thicklish given the hot temperatures but it was perfect in consistency and application. The first coat went on sheer and a medium thick second coat provided full opacity. And look at that shiny finish - beautiful!
Final thoughts: I start to like my no-buy status (with breaks here and there, I admit). It forces me to finally use nearly forgotten gems - so yes, I consider this a treasure hunt through my very own stash - LOL!!!
I ordered Colors by Llarowe Behead The Drama Queen with
Llarowe. This beauty is long gone but there are regular launches and re-stocks of a myriad of beauties to choose from.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
How lovely this one looks on you! I've got this one, too, and guess what: I've actually already worn it! Unbelievable, isn't it? ;-)
ReplyDeleteHahaha you are funny - I am not surprised at all - it seems you are way better to work through your untrieds than me. But my no-buy (which is in place again) hopefully helps…. and thank you so much sweetie <3
DeleteThis totally looks like a gem! So beautiful on you! :D I also on a low-buy and it works for me, I got two filled helmer drawers filled with untried which I'm going through. And then there's all the nail art with "old" polishes too keeping me occupied. :P
ReplyDeleteThank you Gelic <3!!! Oh my, I think we sit on a similar amount of untrieds - so each time I feel an itch to click on "add to cart" I will think of you and I am sure it will help to minimize my buys - thank you for sharing!! And I know - I really start to like nail art and the polish part of my brain sort of continuously rotates around new stuff to try and so on and so on ;-)
DeleteThis is such a pretty polish. It's a gorgeous green and I love the shimmer too :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is always good to re-discover a gem in your stash that you forgot about!!! This is a true gem :-)
Thank you my dear Ananka! This is a perfect summer vampy sparkly number for overcast weather. I have to admit, I enjoy the low-buy (frankly this no buy doesn't work). :-)
DeleteThis one ♥♥♥♥♥ Excuse me whilst I pull out Saint George, again....
ReplyDeleteOMG Saint George!!!! I need to pull out that one again too, way too long since I wore it last…. Thank you sis xxx

ReplyDeleteThank you hon - I love to imagine myself equiped with helmet, torch (and I would not mind Harrison Ford either) exploring my polish caves - haha
