KBShimmer Low And Be Bold: #supergorgeousblog theme Nails of the Day

Today is the last day of the June #supergorgeousblog challenge on Instagram and the theme is exactly down my lane: NAILS OF THE DAY!!! Of course I did not intend lacking any efforts to come forward with a gorgeous NOTD.

As hard as I tried but there was no way I got around KBShimmer Low And Be Bold from KBShimmer's early summer collection. I am sure most of you have seen plenty of pictures and read plenty of praises over this beauty. Therefore I keep it short and sweet: it is all true. Low And Be Bold is a somewhat darker royal blue crelly with the formula of a jelly. I was longing for a Skittelette and leafing through my inspiration folder, I came across a gorgeous skittle mani by Leslie from Work Play Polish. Now she shows nail art that is in heights I might hopefully reach in about 60 years or so. But luckily, she had one nail done with a dotticure that seemed doable for my humble level (note: the shiny line along my middle and index tips are not my nails but a reflection - yes, it is that shiny):

Pinkie: two coats of Picture Polish Chillax
Ring: three coats of Picture Polish Sky dotted with KBShimmer Low And Be Bold and Picture Polish Chillax
all others: two coats KBShimmer Low And Be Bold

Soooooo, I pondered some on what to say about KBShimmer Low And Be Bold. I personally favor short and concise summaries - let's try this: It has the consistency of a jelly, the behavior of a cream and the look of a crelly. IMO this covering everything and yes, it is totally worth getting, no matter how many siblings your collection might already hold, I promise this is a unique experience!!!!

Final thoughts: KBShimmer Low And Be Bold is blue perfection, now let me head over to Harlow & Co and ogle some more of those KBShimmer creams, so far each and every single one I bought is a win in my books.

I ordered KBShimmer Low And Be Bold with Harlow & Co.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stopping by!!!

    1. Thank you hon -you always find kind words, despite my ill-sized dots, I will have to give it another go soon as I like the concept but I find it one of the harder dotticures as it is unforgiving and needs a precision I clearly lack <3
