I saved the most mind blowing polish of the Picture Polish Rocky Horror Picture Show shades for last. This would be Columbia, a medium red jelly base with tons and tons of small red glitter (yes, it is reminiscent of China Glaze Ruby Slippers).
I applied two coats of Picture Polish Columbia over Butter London Patent Gel Base Coat. The formula is slightly thicker due to the amount of glitter packed into this beauty. Still, the application was a breeze as once more the formula is perfection and no glitters stray outside the painted area of your nail. Having read that Columbia has a jelly base, I was a tad worried if I really get it opaque in two coats but surprisingly two coats really work out great. Which is a merit also given the thicker consistency. If a third coat would be needed I definitely would recommend layer Columbia over a base color. The dry time is a tad slow but a fast drying Top Coat does the job here to get you and your nails ready to go. And note THIS: the surface of my nails was totally smooth even without Top Coat:
Picture Polish Columbia definitely talks Las Vegas if worn shiny but what truly knocked me out of my socks was the mattified version:
I applied one coat of Mentality Matte Top Coat - gaahh isn't this mindblowingly beautiful? Columbia takes on a Damask-esque quality shifting to a slightly darker shade around the edges - unfortunately it is not visible in my pictures.
Final thoughts: I am truly blown away by Picture Polish Columbia in every aspect, well this goes for all of the Rocky Horror Picture Show shades I ordered. While I first thought that getting them all is a tad fancy and certainly over the top considering that none of the shades are unique their performance is stellar and each and every one of them made it to my personal Nail Polish Olymp upon the first brushstroke.
I ordered Picture Polish Columbia with their own website.
