Teal Please!!! Pahlish Moon Like A Spotlight

Since last Fall Pahlish also creates holo polishes. But they are much more than plain holos (nothing wrong with these, mind you) they come with vibrant bases and - as in the case with Moon Like A Spotlight - glimmer. Moon Like A Spotlight is a teal base with a soft linear holo (that looks more scattered in my photos) and turquoise shimmer.

the above pictures are taken indoors in day and artificial light, the below photo in artificial light

and now are you ready for a bunch of photos taken in the sun?

I applied two coats of Pahlish Moon Like A Spotlight over Essence Hardening Nail Base. The consistency is great though I recommend to wait a couple of minutes between the first and the second coat to prevent polish dragging. Dry time was between quick and normal. I applied one layer of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat to really bring the shimmer front row ;-)!

Final thoughts: Pahlish created a really great version to the admittedly quite overflowing range of holographic polishes. I think these days it became quite a challenge to come up with a holographic polish that gets noticed in the market as brands right and left are releasing them. Gone are the days when we were happy to find any at all or sat on the waiting list for restocks of Nfu Ohs forever, not to mention chasing some China Glaze on Ebay ;-). I remember the nail polish community screaming for more holos and the industry obliged - first and foremost all those Indie nail polish creators who really managed to cook up some outstanding numbers. Moon Like A Spotlight fits right into the last category!

As always I ordered this polish with Palish's own website here.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

    1. Thank you ma belle <3 - imagine, the sun was out when I started painting and gone by the time I was ready to take the pictures, I think I waited for the better part of 30 minutes to catch a hole in the clouds to snap the above pictures ;-) xxx bisous
