My polish choices for the Holidays: Pahlish Pyrite
My final post of this mini-series is the polish I plan to wear for Christmas Eve: Pahlish Pyrite from their Winter Collection - a golden foil consisting of smaller and bigger pieces of flakes in gold, silver and graphite that give Pyrite an antique gold foil look.
the above pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below photos outside in the sun

I applied two coats of Pahlish Pyrite over Essence Hardening Nail Base. The application was easy except for the bigger flakies that had a tendency to clump a little bit around the tips of the nails but I easily could get them off the nail with my rosewood stick. Dry time is very fast and the surface was to my surprise totally smooth except on the tip of my pointer where I could not pick off all of the rebellious flakies. On purpose I did not apply a Top Coat, else the lens of my iPhone would have freaked completely at the shininess - I had to take a ton of pictures to get the above more or less sharp, most of the pictures were blurred due to the goldenness ;-)!
Final thoughts: I am sure, I don't need to explain why I want to wear this for Christmas Eve - to me this is the epitome of fluid gold on the nails and for once it doesn't turn my skin into piggy claws.
I ordered Phalish Pyrite with their own Bigcartel site here.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
