Crows Toes Chess!.…you dog

Trend No 4: Circle Glitter!!! I think I first got aware of those saucer sized round glitters with Emily de Molly Abstract Canvas. Since then I see it popping up here and there. Here is as in Crows Toes Chess!.…your dog released in the One Hot Summer Collection. Crows Toes is the second part of my Trend No 4: Crows Toes polishes are always nearly a tad off the edge, they do their own thing and refuse to march to the general drum - I assume this to be core if you plan to remain in demand and searched after in the sea of Indie nailpolish brands. 

Chess!....your dog is a clear based glitter filled with turquoise and blue and black hex glitters and black shards - and… turquoise saucer glitter. Beware - this once more is a very picture heavy post....

I applied one coat of Crows Toes Chess!.…your dog over Isadora 74 Silk Road. This baby is very, very, VERY glitter dense, this sort of thickens the polish but still it spreads nicely on the nail and lays flat and neat on the nail if not heaped in piles - which can happen due to the sheer amount of glitter spilling out of the bottle. It dries quickly and I got a very smooth finish by applying just one layer of my regular Top Coat Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.

I was trying a couple of colors as base for Chess!.…your dog. Now let's look what it looks like over:

Final thoughts: This color combination is one of my favorites (I seem to also always go back and order another and another one with similarly colored glitters) and personally I prefer to layer it over a dark teal or navy but this inevitably swallows the one or the other glitter. Isadora 746 added some foil glam and at the same time let all the glitters speak up.

Crows Toes is another favorite Indie brand of mine and I slowly add a polish here and there. I like their ALWAYS off the range choices of themes and colors for the collections and I just like brands that come up with stuff you either like or not but there is hardly a so-so middle way.
