Elevation Polish Jengish Chokusu

Jengish Chokusu has together with Jungfrau nudged me into starting to collect Elevation Polish. No surprise with this soft yet vibrant turquoise and the name was sounding so mysterious and promising - I just had to have it.

Jengish Chokusu by the way is a massif of multiple summits at the boarder of Kyrgystan and China. It's highest summit measures 7'439 m/24'406 ft - just for those who are interested in where the name of this polish comes from. But let's move from geography to nail polish:

I applied three coats of Elevation Polish Jengish Chokusu over Essence XXL Nail Thickener. Since this is a crelly the first coat goes on sheer. But the formula is superb and easily controlled with excellent selfleveling qualities. I would advice to wait a couple of minutes in between coats as the polish is prone to dragging and not really fast drying. There is decent opacity after applying the second coat but adding a third coat makes Jengish Chokusu GLOOOOOW without loosing any of its squishiness!!! I did not use any Top Coat in the photos above.

Final thoughts: Elevation Polish Jengish Chokusu is one awesome nail polish and I already now want to wear it again ;-)!!!

I ordered Elevation Polish Jengish Chokusu with Llarowe but you can order Elevation Polish also on their own website - they restock twice per month.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
