Glitter Me: Cirque Electric Circus over Picture Polish Sky

Today I have the last of my Cirque Arcus Collection polishes for you: Just look at how fun and cute Cirque Electric Circus is:

the above two pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below photo outdoors in the sun

I swatched Cirque Electric Circus last Saturday and as is my tradition, I always go out to a nearby Confiserie to have a delicious pastry - I loved my swatch so much that I just did my left hand as well to wear it for my weekly treat:

I applied two coats of Cirque Electric Circus over two coats of Picture Polish Sky. As with Kaleidoscope the formula is fantastically easy to work with, the glitter dense and spreading nicely. What's not to love with it?

Final thoughts on Cirque Electric Circus: I really appreciate this small sized glitter. For once it is so nice setting out to fish for glitters. Looking at my nails from a distance Electric Circus reminds me of a bird egg sprinkled in neon colors ;-)!!!

I don't want to miss the opportunity to introduce my latest Picture Polish purchase Sky: After having seen so many beautiful Skittelettes over at Marta's ChitChat Nails (this link brings you straight to Marta's post of Picture Polish Sky) I caved and ordered it (along with some pals of it - ehem ;-P).

I applied two coats of Picture Polish Sky over Essence XXL Nail Thickener. Now frankly, the formula was not as easy as to work with as for example the one of Picture Polish Tiffany. The polish is slightly thicker and therefore has a tendency to go on to the nail a bit patchy on the first coat. Applying medium thick coats does not really do too much good either given the thicker consistency. However the second coat really smoothed out the first streaky look and applying the polish with even and brush strokes help.

I ordered Cirque Electric Circus with their own website and Picture Polish Sky with Llarowe.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

    1. Hi sweetie, I am so happy you like it - actually your Franken inspired me to this combination - I like the contrasting and small glitter pieces so much in the turquoise base that I literally had to tie my hands to NOT layer all glitters this week over mint, turquoise or aqua colors - LOL - cuddles to Smilla und viele Küsschen für Dich xxx
