Saturday Skittelette featuring Cirque Bejeweled

I think I already admitted that I went a little bonkers over Cirque's recent Arcus Collection and ordered myself nearly the whole collection :-S! Bejeweled was along with Vesuvius on the top of my wishlist so this was one of the first to receive.

Lovely Marta from ChitChat Nails has shown an awesome Peter Pan mani with Cirque Bejeweled on center stage and this got me thinking into using Bejeweled as part of a Skittelette.

The ingredients:

From left:
Essie Lovey Dovey, Lush Lacquer Mr. Bubble, Cult Nails Faded, Cirque Bejeweled

The recipe:
Pinkie: two coats of Essie Lovey Dovey
Ring: one coat of Cult Nails Faded (this polish applies SOOOO well) and one coat of Lush Lacquer Mr. Bubble
all others: two coats of Cirque Bejeweled

indoors in daylight:

 outdoors in the shade:

 in artificial light:

To make the long story short about Cirque Bejeweled: while this polish has a holo that might not make you reach for your sunglasses it is VERY visible in any lightning and the saturated base color NEVER looks dull or flat as with those blinding holos. The formula is like the one of a cream, just slap, slap, done and drying time is that of a hole, i.e. within a blink of the eye. The wear is like with Vesuvius - again nothing like your regular holo, but more like a cream.

What do you think of integrating a holographic polish into a Skittelette?

I ordered Cirque Bejeweled from Cirque's own website. But you can also order with Harlow & Co and Pshiiit Boutique and MeiMei Signatures.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  1. Bejeweled is just beautiful. Ever since I learned of a little polish called DS Glamour I've been in love with the idea of a deep blue linear holo. So nice to learn this one has such a great formula and wear time. It's for certain the star of the show here, but the whole skittlette is wonderfully complementary. Hugs to you sis, I hope you're having a good weekend ♥

  2. I'll have to get more Cirque into my life! Bejeweled looks gorgeous on you! I love how you've combined the colors in this skittelette! The glitter picks up both the pink from Lovey Dovey and the blue from Bejeweled and it's layered over a great neutral base like Faded <3
