Saturday Skittlette on Wednesday featuring La Couleur Couture 1972

Those of you who read my Blog regularly certainly remember my excitement about La Couleur Couture 1977. Another of those beautiful cream polishes I picked up is La Couleur Couture 1977. This is a soft, slightly dusty lilac.

I applied two smooth coats over Essence XXL Nail Thickener and used Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer. However, this polish dries to an incredibly high shine and can easily be worn without any Topper.

But you came for seeing a Skittlette, right? Marta from Chit Chat Nails showed for Easter a drop dead gorgeous mosaic mani and included an easy tutorial along with her post (the link above goes directly to this post). I had some time at my hand and felt like dipping my nails into unknown territory - this is the result:

.... and these are the polishes I used

From left to right:
Opi Skull &  Glossbones
La Couleur Couture 1972
Sally Hansen Pink Satin
Max Factor Cool Jade

Admittedly, I feel pretty smug that my first attempt at using striping tape turned out so pretty.

I ordered La Couleur Couture 1972 with Harlow & Co, Sally Hansen Pink Satin is a gift from my lovely friend Liesl from Liesl Loves Pretty Things. Max Factor Cool Jade and Opi Skulls & Glossbones I got at local stores.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
