Saturday mani featuring Opi Get Your Number

Silly me published my Saturday Skittlette on Wednesday :-S. So for today I have no Skittlette but a gradient mani for you. Ever since I bought the Opi Liquid Sand polishes from the Mariah Carey Collection I was tossing and turning ideas for a textured finish gradient. Then earlier this week, wonderful Marta from ChitChat Nails has shown a gradient mani that I loved a lot and it gave me the final nudge to try a textured finish gradient.

Recipe for textured finish gradient

Ingredients:
Ozotic 905
Crows Toes Bunny Slope
Chanel Frenzy
Opi Get Your Number


Application:
2 coats of Essence XXL Nail Thickener
1 coat of Chanel Frenzy
Dabbing Opi Get Your Number to the base of the nail
Dabbing Crows Toes Bunny Slope on the middle length of the nail, extending softly to left and right
Dabbing Ozotic 905 from the tips down to the middle of the nail

I did try to "glossify" the mani on my thumb adding layer upon layer of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and about two thick coats of Essence Better Than Gel Nails. The result did not convince me AT ALL it turned just dull. This mani really worked only with the textured, gritty finish.While M was wary to get out of the reach of my hands (smirk) Nell, our cat, enjoyed the massaging effect (got lots of purrs) - LOL!!!

I bought Opi Get Your Number at Douglas. I ordered Crows Toes with Llarowe. I buy my Ozotics with Harlow & Co, Llarowe and Pshiiit Boutique.
