My dear readers, I find it so hard to believe that I yet again summarize my NOTDs of this past week, those days really flew by at light speed.
Those of you who regularly read my Blog know that I did another themed week - it was Aussie Week at Polished Marvels. Originally I planned on having another post up but then I liked the mani so much on my nails that I ended up wearing it for three days and decided to include it in my NOTDs of the week. This is Pretty Serious Twinkling Lights:
I applied one coat of Pretty Serious Twinkling Lights over one coat of A England Camelot. I used Essence XXL Nail Thickener as Base Coat and Essie Matte About You as Top Coat. The consistency is a tad thickly but was easy to apply. Twinkling Lights has a great glitter density and I ended up dabbing just on one or two nails some more copper glitter. And just to have shown also the shiny version:
Contrary Polish is one of my three favorite nailpolish brands. Their signature are creams or crellies with shimmer in the most incredible color combinations. Firebrand is a brown leaning dark red with magenta and pink shimmer. I even saw the one or the other blue shimmer peeking on my nails:
I applied three flawless coats over Zoya Anchor Base Coat and finished the look with Butter London Hardwear Top Coat. In daylight the shimmer is not very visible but adds depth and dimension to your nails. In artificial light the shimmer is more visible:
Then towards the end of the week temperatures finally rose and I could let my dawn jacket safely tucked in my wardrobe. I am not having a lot of pink nailpolish but the first real spring day called for a girly look on my nails. This is Lime Crime Parfait Day:
I applied two medium thick coats of Lime Crime Parfait Days over Essence XXL Nail Thickener. I used Lime Crime Lavendairy and Lime Crime Pastelchio for the dots on the accent nail. I finished the look with Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer. For those who are interested in Lime Crime: Katie from Harlow & Co kindly informed me that right now there is a plan to restock Lime Crime in May but there is no date confirmed yet.
And last but not least - it's holo weather again :-D!!! Isn't Color Club Holo-graphic just gorgeous? And yes, the first picture is taken in the real sun :-D. The second picture is taken indoors in daylight and even though it is taken in the shade, there is still plenty of holo to be seen.
I applied two effortless coats of Color Club Holo-graphic over my Fnug Aqua Base Coat and used Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.
As if this post would not be long enough I have another appearance of Nell here. I bought some flowers for a friends birthday and he absolutely could not believe that he was not allowed to sniff, chew or play with them:
Of course I would love to know what you wore on your nails this week and which one of those was your favorite?

ReplyDeleteIf I have to say a polish I actually like the pink one! :D This is a bit of a surprise because I don't really like pink but it must have been the dots that caught my attention! ;) You made dots!! :D Love it! They look perfect!! And of course I like the holo too ;) You know I'm such a sucker for holo ;)
Hope you had a great weekend Süsse! Küsschen! xxx
Hi love, thank you so much, I am not surprised that Nell stole the show this week, I knew you would appreciate the picture ;-). LOL I love what you said about the pink mani - I am not really into pinks normally either but Parfait Days is just too pretty. I did the dots because my friend at work convinced me that I should do them also for the office so I gave a try!! And you inspired me for the holo - it is too long since I could wear one and have the chance to really appreciate it - sun, you hear me??? Have a lovely start of the week meine Süsse - küsschen xxx
